Let the music roll, it bleeds out from my soul…
Those are the sincere words of Southern Rock Jam Band, Riverbend Reunion, and the band lives true to those words. The Reunion is all about real musicians, writing nostalgic songs, in an industry in desperate need of more throw back grooves. When the boys of Riverbend Reunion met they quickly formed a bond gigging relentlessly around the Southeast, playing the songs that would come to define Riverbend Reunion’s sound.
The Riverbend Reunion sound comes from the hills of Tennessee and the swamps of southern Alabama. “It’s just good ole rock and roll,” says frontman John Smith of the songs that herald back to a time when the genre was defined by the greats; The Allman Brothers, The Band, The Faces and more. With their sound, a mix of rock and blues the band revels in their live performances that include plenty of improvisation and extended jams.
Riverbend Reunion is looking to leave its mark on audiences everywhere with their soulful, electric live performances, meant for their road warrior mentality.
MachineFunk "Tribute to Widespread Panic" was formed in the summer of 2006 in Florence, SC. The band has toured the southeast for the last five years covering the music of Widespread Panic. Night after night their set lists are never the same, with having over 120 songs in their repertoire you will not see the same show twice. They also include songs from Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Talking Heads and many others. MachineFunk has shared the stage with musicians from The Dirty Dozen Brass Band, North Mississippi Allstars, and Jojo Herman of Widespread Panic. Each show is a musical journey that can't be explained, only experienced!
